- Responsibility for successfully managing all technical, financial, and schedule aspects of assigned programs. Has P&L responsibility for these programs. Works with technical stakeholders to define requirements and is the primary contact on status and performance.
- Participates in business strategy sessions.
- Leads a cross functional team of associates with a wide range of skill sets, ensuring roles and responsibilities of all team members are well understood and executed. Provide overall leadership to program team and drive technical compliance.
- Acts as customer interface for program activities. Leads program review sessions with the customer to address cost, schedule and technical performance.
- Develops and manages technical performance metrics on assigned projects.
- Identifies and executes plans to mitigate program risks.
- Ensures program-wide focus on safety, reliability, cost and schedule, and adequacy of systems, procedures, and people for long term success.
- Bachelor’s degree and 6 years' experience supporting U.S. Government contracts or project management in other industries, or master’s degree and 4 years relevant experience.
- Experience in the application of knowledge, insights and understanding of business and financial concepts, tools and processes to the benefit of program decisions, actions and performance.
- Experience in the management of communications with stakeholders through organized processes to ensure that program information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets program stakeholder needs.
- Experience in identifying and addressing program impacts through systematic, proactive, approach to issue and problem resolution that identifies, communicates, monitors and promptly resolves conflicts across all levels of the program.
- The ability to monitor/control program plans, cost and schedule baselines that meet both program contractual requirements and stakeholder expectations.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years' experience supporting U.S. Government contracts or project management in other industries, or master’s degree and 8 years relevant experience.

- Scrum Master Experience/Training.
- Active DoD Secret clearance.

This position will be located in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
The CMAD organization is a rapidly evolving, fast paced team that offers unique opportunities to interact with many internal customer stakeholders in technical and programmatic sector leadership. The program portfolio is based in IRCC (Infrared Camera Core) building block devices; a fast growing, state of the art technology that is a key enabler for billions of sensor system business within the NGMS sector.
What You'll Get to Do:
The Program Manager responsibilities are broad and rewarding; you are the direct interface to internal customers in this position. For your internal customers you are responsible to support as needed to ensure the broader CMAD goals are met and milestone dates, performance, and needs for resources are well communicated and understood.
