      Job Description

      As a Talent Recruitment Project Manager, you will lead and oversee critical strategic initiatives and projects to ensure that the talent recruitment team is delivering cutting edge attraction, souring, recruitment, and selection practices and services. The Project Manager will plan, execute, and deliver these projects successfully, ensuring they align with organizational and team goals and enhance KIPP TX talent. Additionally, the project managers will build the talent recruitment team’s capacity management framework, ensuring that the talent recruitment team has the tools, systems, and processes, to deliver A+ service for current and future hiring needs. This multifaceted position requires strong project management skills, strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

      Key Responsibilities

      Assist with recruitment and hiring of future Big KIPPsters (45%)

      • Support talent recruitment leadership to implement recruitment campaigns to attract high-quality applicants, particularly for hard to fill positions at KIPP TX.

      • Collaborate with Directors, Talent Recruitment to compile and implement Talent Recruitment calendar of sourcing and recruitment events, including career fairs, information sessions, and in-person events

      • Develop systems for tracking, reporting, and evaluating recruitment campaigns and marketing activities. Identify and recommend opportunities to improve recruitment marketing campaign results

      • Engage with the marketing team and contribute to the development of compelling messages to target audiences. Incorporate messaging into all KIPP TX recruitment promotion materials, including job descriptions

      • Serve as brand ambassador at various events, like career fairs or on-campus recruiting events

      • Create and implement mass outreach campaigns in smartrecruiters to drive applications conversion rate

      • Support with recruitment events logistics (zoom operations, career fair registrations, event communications and follow-up) ensuring high-quality candidate and team member experience

      • Serve as administrator for recruitment platforms, including LinkedIn, SelectEd, Indeed, Glassdoor, VidRecruiter, and ACP lists

      • Support recruiters leading open searches by sourcing high quality talent leads, driving applicant conversion rates, reviewing applications, and screening high quality applicants

      • Provide logistical support for hiring processes, including in person and virtual interview setup

      Lead talent recruitment projects (30%)

      • Lead the full project management cycle of talent recruitment projects and strategic initiatives to ensure client-centric, on time, and quality deliverables and/or services.

      • Collaborate with talent recruitment leadership to align project goals with organization, department, and team goals and objectives.

      • Evaluate project’s progress, making recommendations to adjust project scope or implementation plans, escalating issues, and enacting mitigation risk strategies that might prevent on time and/or quality project delivery.

      • Coordinate and align key stakeholders within the talent recruitment team, talent department and across the organization to ensure seamless project execution.

      • Facilitate user group feedback sessions and incorporate findings into project plans, deliverables and services.

      • Provide direction to, motivate, and lead project teams to develop quality deliverables and/or services based on project requirements.

      • Ensure strong project closure, including, transferring and training appropriate users or owners on implementation of project processes, policies, and services.

      • Maintain all projects and strategic initiatives documentation, including, project plans, reports, budgets, communications, etc.

      • Lead talent recruitment capacity planning activities, including training talent recruitment portfolio leaders and team leadership on all matters related to capacity planning

      • Interact with portfolio leaders, talent recruitment leadership, and talent management to project organizational current and future hiring needs

      • Regularly communicate with plans and forecasts to internal stakeholders, including escalating risk of over capacity concerns

      Promote KIPP TX’s employer value proposition (20%)

      • Partner with talent recruitment leadership and the marketing team to plan and implement employer branding strategies to attract great candidates who demonstrate our core values and advance our mission

      • Act as a brand champion of KIPP TX’s employee values proposition

      • Monitor Glassdoor, Indeed, and LinkedIn and plan and execute activities for engaging reviewers

      • Collaborate with the marketing team to amplify KIPP TX employees as ambassadors for our brand

      • Collaborate with KIPP TX’s marketing department to develop and coordinate recruitment marketing paid and organic media campaigns and staff newsletter

      • Create and curate content on various talent recruitment media channels

      • Leverage the KIPP TX’s career website to attract leads and partner with marketing on improvements to the careers websites

      Serve as an active member of Talent Recruitment Team and Family (5%)

      • Foster a culture of collaboration through active participation in manager, team, department, and organizational meetings

      • Engage in learning and continuous improvement through co-creating a personalized learning plan and participating in development experiences to improve your practice in equity-based recruitment and leadership

      Qualifications

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree required, Degree in management, business or human resources preferred

      • Minimum of 3 years experience in project management, talent/HR, or full cycle recruitment

      • Project management certification (PMP, PMI, or Six Sigma) highly preferred

      • Experience working in education, non-profit, or high-stakes service industry, preferred

      • Experience in marketing, communications, or sales strongly preferred

      • The starting point for the salary range for this position is $56,000 and is commensurate upon experience and internal-equity
