- Develop the executional & strategic path for the sales team within the assigned territory.
- Executive leadership of key accounts.
- Lead direction and productivity of district sales managers.
- Leading team to deliver new sales account acquisition - Wireless, 3PL, Broadband & Telco & Enterprise markets.
- Business leader/voice for Power & Tel throughout the assigned market.
- Develop & expand relationships with key suppliers.
- Attending key trade shows.
- Get results through others.
- Setting high expectations and increasing Sales and Gross production of sales staff.
- Educate, motivate and coach DSMs primary and AMs secondary.
- Supervise to increase sales, increase GP and control selling expenses.
- Joint sales calls to key customer and vendor partners (requiring approximately 50%+ travel).
- Responsible for know key vendor partners management and the development of a strong working relationship.
- Plans, coordinates and participates in product promotions, training classes and conventions.
- Recommends sales goals, GP goals and expense budgets for assigned DSMs.
- Develops and recommends pricing strategy's to stay relevant, and win business.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations of direct reports.
- Interview, hire and train new DSMs.
- Monitor travel and coach detailed, timely reporting of DSMs.
- Deliver new business growth via new customers, category expansion and key account retention and growth strategies within assigned sector(s).
- Lead field sales new business efforts.
- Support sales manager(s) efforts/tasks/compliance: customer business reviews, proposals, pricing, etc.
- Establish productive & professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer/prospect accounts.
- Develop strong relationships with internal product manager(s) & suppliers
- Liaise with marketing & product development to ensure brand consistency, awareness & positioning (Trade Shows, Associations, etc.)
- Deliver new sales & current customer account growth to meet sales goals.
- Deploy & comply with customer business review execution and improvement plans.
- Develop key account retention, loyalty & partnership programs.
- Deliver new customer acquisition & reactivation targets.
- Ambassador of new business growth for select/targeted SIC's.
- Participate in industry associations to expand Power & Tel market share.
- 3-5 Years of individual contributor sales experience.
- 2-3 years experience of proven successful experience as a a National Sales Manager, Territory Regional Sales Manager and/or Business Development/Sales Leader.
- Business acumen: Ability to grasp technical details of product offering(s), value added services, contract management & supplier relations. High degree of business acumen/maturity, excellent people skills, team player, acts with a sense of urgency, understands the strategic nature of sales, demonstrates a strong passion for growth (Sales Process) & value-added supplier relations skill-set

- Ability to lead & influence others with/without formal authority. Strong partnership and influence with peers/colleagues, departmental partners, external industry counter parts, customers and leaders
