- Commercial orientation with strong business acumen
- Ability to work within a team and independently to resolve complex issues
- Ability to engender positive and collaborative relationships with departmental Managers, Risk Liaison’s and wider business stakeholders
- Ability to influence, negotiate and present to achieve desired results
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in a Risk Leadership role with a delivery and relationship management focus
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Law or a related field.

As the Manager Risk you will be responsible for leading the maintenance of the Group Risk Management Framework, including the delivery of timely, accurate and relevant risk reports to executive stakeholders and the Board. You will lead the delivery of risk management improvement initiatives as well as provide risk advisory services to enhance risk management capabilities, culture and awareness across the Qantas Group. You’ll facilitate risk workshops for strategic projects/initiatives and business as usual activities as required.
