What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Sales Estimators, ensuring high-quality and accountable output
- Produce complex quotations and act as the escalation point for the team
- Provide ongoing training on quoting best practices and Salesforce/CPQ usage
- Develop accurate quotations from customer requests and specifications using Salesforce
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to unblock deals and track performance metrics
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Over 5 years of experience in quoting, sales operations, or commercial support for technical solutions
- Prior experience leading or mentoring others in a sales support or operations function
- Strong proficiency with Salesforce, CPQ/quoting tools, and Excel
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with distributors, contractors, or public-sector project quoting
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as plan sets and specifications
- Collaborative communicator who can align Sales, Engineering, and Operations
