      Purpose of Role: The successful candidate will manage all site maintenance and service related duties on Customer’s Sites, ensures adherence to service contracts and provides customer with value add solutions.

      Key Responsibilities:

      Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

      Ensure budgets per site are adhered to with any deviations reported

      Negotiate additional service business through integrated solutions and services Ensure routine maintenance duties completed as per contract on all sites Provide technical support to internal staff and customers

      Supervise commissioning of pump unit installations

      Promote and market service maintenance plans i.e. repair and return / service exchange and service contracts

      Manage the service staff on customer sites

      Maintain a high-level of service repair work on service contracts

      Follow up meetings with contract management on sites on all contracts/repairs/service exchange to ensure Weir is adhering to contract agreements

      Ensure contractors packs are always up to date Provision for training of mine personnel as required

      Accumulate consumption of spares and pump performance history Spares forecast for all sites

      Offer new products and value adding to contract to ensure continuity Compile a monthly field service report

      Condition monitoring and data gathering

      Effective usage of field service management ERP software packages Ensure relevant SOP's and work instructions are adhered to Develop, maintain and continually improve all processes

      Optimise and set up programmes to improve equipment effectiveness Ensure Weir policies and procedures are adhered to

      On-site compliance audits

      Compile monthly quality presentation to include Safety, Health, Environment (SHE) engagement, improvements, orders completed and outstanding, quality issues and staff complement

      Ensure weekly tool inspections are carried out and documented

      Hold a Mine Health & Safety Act (MHSA) 2.6.1 legal appointment for all responsible sites and ensure that reports carry the necessary legal appointments where applicable

      Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
      • 5-8 years’ Proven experience in a maintenance management role.
      • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
      • Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
      • Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance techniques.
      • Strong leadership and team management skills.
      • Experience in managing maintenance budgets and controlling costs.
      • Excellent problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
      • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
      • Good communication skills.
