Assist the Director of Site Merchandising in developing and executing the site merchandising strategy to align with business goals and marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with category growth and marketing to develop best in class merchandising strategies to present a compelling product assortment that meets customer needs and preferences.
Strengthen saks product merchandising presentation by refining product recommendations, implementing cross-functional processes, managing test and iterate roadmaps, and presenting a cohesive storytelling perspective across all core channels
Works closely with Site metrics and web analytics to analyze website data, customer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data-driven decisions
Provide weekly/monthly recaps to leadership and cross-functional teams with finding and recommendations, clearly defining the wins and opportunities. Complete seasonal hindsights to help plan and execute for future seasonal site plans.
Lead planning and executing online events, promotions, offers, and product launches to drive traffic, conversion, and revenue growth.
Conduct A/B testing and analyze performance data to recommend and implement improvements to merchandising tactics.
Collaborate with the product team to create document enhancements and defects for the website
Assist in monitoring competitor activities and industry trends to stay competitive in the market.
Partner closely with cross functional team leaders to develop and enhance the Saks brand, website, and competitive positioning
4+ years of site merchandising, ecommerce experience required.
Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud highly preferred
Superior analytical skills and ability to create ad hoc reporting and analysis
Strong communication skills and attention to detail whilst operating in a fast-paced environment
Fixated on driving growth with an ability to think outside of existing limitations
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional team
Customer-obsessed, focused on building a best-in-class digital experience
Ability to spearhead initiatives and run point on key projects that may fall outside of day-to-day responsibilities
Must have advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Analytics, with a capacity to learn new systems swiftly
Working experience in luxury apparel industry a plus

Role Summary:
The manager of site merchandising plays a pivotal role in managing initiatives that are essential to enhancing the overall product experience on the saks.com website and app, with a main functional focus owning the website hierarchy, ideating and implementing product array strategies, partnering with SEO to address areas of opportunity, ownership of product conversion tools (reviews, cross shop widgets) and A/B testing of site merchandising strategies.
In this role, you will collaborate with the Director of Site Merchandising to plan and execute specific optimizations related to site merchandising. This involves determining attribute structures, navigation pathways, and landing experiences to effectively boost product discoverability and presentation to achieve revenue and conversion rate targets.
You’ll be responsible for the development and execution of merchandising tactics in translating the assortment strategy into site strategy through partnerships with category growth, marketing, and product teams. You will work closely with Merchandising, Growth & Product leaders to identify and prioritize site enhancements, new functionalities, inventory opportunities, and merchandising priorities.
You will need fantastic organizational and communication skills, technical skills, as well as a passion for process improvement and thinking outside the box. It’s your role to help create a path to our future vision. This will require you to think big and be comfortable challenging convention, and in some cases reinvent how we operate.
