What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the hiring, training, and development of a high-performing sales team for outside direct sales
- Increase market share and exceed performance targets related to subscribers, revenue, and churn
- Meet or exceed overall sales quotas for the assigned region
- Coordinate and run frequent sales meetings to drive team success
- Conduct ongoing mentoring and coaching in the field for Account Executives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4-7 years of verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience in a commissioned environment
- 2+ years of people management responsibilities
- 2+ years of experience in telecommunications or technical sales
- Proven leadership abilities, including inspiring and motivating teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Strong coaching skills with the ability to conduct difficult conversations
- Proven track record of high yield business sales success
- Familiarity with basic HR/Recruiting processes to attract and retain top sales talent
- Well-honed negotiating and closing skills
