- Contribute to creating new approaches and concepts for space planning
- Create floor plans combining capacity, consumer journeys and financial plans. This includes:
- Efficiently creating layout drawings
- Analyzing comprehensive datasets, allocating fixture space based on current sales, inventory turn, sales potential, and consumer friendliness
- Bearing accountability for data integrity of all planograms and planogram assignments
- Optimize existing floor and capacity plans. That requires to proactively analyze the need for changes and according to an annual schedule utilizing historical data and current
- Assist with giving input to stockroom team
- Support store opening and refit processes
- Collaborate with the buying and planning teams on the basis of KPIs
- Retail operations & local retail teams
- Planning and buying
- Market CtC (esp. Assortment Planning and Price Architecture)
- Market finance teams
- Technical skills in pre-season planning and buying for a multichannel direct-to-consumer (own retail, franchise or e-com) global brand
- Deep knowledge of merchandising and retail supply and operations topics and broad knowledge of other functional areas involved in the planning & buying process
- Product knowledge and understanding of inventory principles
- Interpersonal, analytical and project management skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills as well as strong creative merchandising skill
- Fluent in English
- University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
- Retail knowledge gained through working in stores
- 5 years of relevant work experience
Space planning is vital analytical function for the success of our Retail stores. Store layout plays an important role in enhancing our brands by creating memorable consumer experiences. Space planning is the art and science of maximizing floor and merchandising space. It involves organizing in-store elements to create a customer flow. This position enables us to use our stores efficiently and ensures that the consumer finds what she needs, ultimately improving our financial performance. It is vital for this role to find the right balance between brand building and commercial opportunities and requires the ability to have a proper understanding of the consumers psychology.
