- Accountable for Global Supply Chain Goods Movement and Logistics operations in support of a of Site production program
- Lead managers who are responsible for supporting all Production goals and objectives through accurate tracking, receiving, stocking, kitting, issuing parts, shipping, preservation, chemical management and issue, with focus on unquestionable safety and quality practices
- Develop and Drive strategy for Goods Movement that align with organizational goals, ensuring supply chain processes are optimized to support business growth, operational excellence and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, quality, engineering, programs, and other key functions to ensure alignment, prioritize resource deployment, and deliver on program commitments
- Ensure mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any risks related to goods movement and logistics execution
- Serve as a key liaison with internal customers and executive leadership. Communicate strategic plans and operational performance effectively and transparently
- Lead initiatives/strategies to drive improved efficiency and cost reductions
- Lead the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators
- Coordinate with various programs & sites on projects related to material receipt, storage, issue and transportation
- Acts as the escalation path to address issues in program execution related to the goods movement and logistics
- Lead, coordinate, and collaborate with internal and external customers, including local, state, federal, and international agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in support of Aeronautics Sector programs
- Directs team activities associated with program transportation, storage, and material handling requirements, including major deliveries (classified and unclassified), and specialty movements as they relate to transportability
- Train and guide employees to ensure alignment with Northrop Grumman Leadership Values and Behaviors
- Cultivate a high performing engaged culture by modeling respect, ownership and joint accountability, while fostering empowerment and promoting straight talk across all levels of the organization
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and succession planning to ensure leadership readiness across the organization
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 7 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment OR a Master’s Degree with at least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 10 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment
- Must have a minimum of 4 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
- Must have Supply Chain and Manufacturing experience
- At minimum, an active DoD Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs
- Ability to prepare and present executive-level presentations
- 4 or more years' proven track record building a robust team; provide people leadership, with a focus on acquiring, developing and retaining talent; respectful of others & understand and embrace the value of an inclusive team; empower each team member to perform at the highest level of productivity; be empathetic and listen for understanding
- Experience as an accomplished problem-solver and change-agent whose unique mix of technical and business expertise lends itself to developing innovative Supply Chain strategies

This position will be located onsite in Iuka, MS.
This position reports to the Palmdale GSC Goods Movement & Logistics Director for the Aeronautics Systems Sector. The manager will be responsible for Global Supply Chain Goods Movement and Logistics operations in support of a Site production program. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing GM strategies to support all of the appropriate programs, with focus on achieving affordability, operational efficiency, safety and first-time quality targets. Candidate responsible for activities and knowledge within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain organization. Exhibits end-to-end supply chain competency.
