- Management of a direct staff of 5 or more professionals consisting of Global Supply Chain Specialists
- Indirect support to OU Directors and Program Managers as well as coordination with other functions within the ATP Production Operations team
- Provide guidance and training to ensure professionals are performing to or exceeding the expectation of their position and established management goals
- Development of negotiation strategies, plans, and coordination with Tactical Fighters Subcontract Manager
- Support of proposal activities
- Oversite of Program cost and monthly forecasting/receipts
- Develop a strong relationship with OU Business Managers to ensure cost goals and challenges are understood and supported.
- Lead and coordinate with necessary functionals to review and approve supplier agreements (i.e. Teaming Agreements, Long Term Pricing Agreements) in coordination with Subcontract Manager and other required Supply Chain teams.
- Identification and communication of deliverables needed from other functional areas.
- Exhibits end-to-end supply chain competency within Supply Chain functions (Planning, Sourcing, Small Business Plan, Supplier Quality, Contracts, Analytics, Compliance, etc.)

Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Manager of Supply Chain Programs 2 to join our Advanced Tactical Program (ATP) Operating Unit (OU) within the Tactical Fighters Business Unit. This position will be onsite at BWI in Baltimore, MD.
This position will provide Global Supply Chain support for multiple Production Lots. The position requires the individual to lead a team responsible for the cost, schedule, and performance of suppliers supporting ATP. The individual will be responsible for mission success of their supply chain responsibilities and ensure their suppliers perform to the committed schedules, terms, conditions, and contractual requirements/specifications and drawings.
This management position will have direct professional reports, which entail day-to-day direction and oversight of the employee’s work product, individual career development needs requiring the ability to lead, recruit, motivate and develop a team. The candidate should understand the aspects of running the business and be able to interact/collaborate with Program and Business Management as well with Engineering, Operations and Quality to cohesively drive successful program performance.
Core responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years (master’s with a minimum of 6 years) of relevant experience in supply chain, operations management, or closely related experience.
Must have 3+ years of experience leading a team in a direct management role or team lead
US Citizenship and must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance and Special Program Access
Must be able to work on-site in Baltimore Md.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Earned Value Management
Experience with a broad range of supply chain issues including risk management, terms and conditions, negotiations, contract types (fixed price and cost type), and post award management
Post-graduate degree in Supply Chain or another related field
Experience in working with capture teams in developing and submitting competitive and compliant major proposals, including teaming strategies and complex subcontracting strategies
Salary Range: $135,800.00 - $203,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
