- Oversee a large and diverse portfolio of VIP experiences and programming to support retention, increase brand awareness and grow revenue
- Lead a group of high-performing individuals with portfolios across multiple properties (Leafs, Raptors, TFC, Argos and LIVE) and venues (Scotiabank Arena, BMO Field, Budweiser Stage and History)
- Provide proactive leadership and strategic direction for all VIP experiences, and be able to effectively communicate objectives to the team and key stakeholders involved
- Foster and build strong working relationships across the organization to move projects forward quickly and effectively
- Deliver best in class service and hospitality to our most valued VIPs
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competing or complimentary best practices to continually level up the client and event experience
- Manage all phases of event experience, including the development of comprehensive plans, timelines, venue selection, data management, content design, budget planning, and execution of live, virtual, and hybrid experiences
- Liaise with the Global Partnership Team to ensure experiences are appropriately scheduled and executed, and that sponsor and partner benefits are delivered
- Ensure all experiences have clear goals, a demonstrable strategy, and measurable objectives
- Work with the Brand Marketing and Communications Team to curate and deliver event collateral in line with brand guidelines
- Proactively identify areas to create process efficiencies and assess critical risk areas to develop/maintain appropriate contingency plans
- Conduct post‐event debriefings to evaluate successful elements and challenges encountered, incorporating that information into the planning and execution of subsequent events
- Develop seasonal gifting strategy to support key retention strategies within the VIP Hospitality portfolio
- Negotiate vendor and supplier contracts within strict MLSE guidelines and budgetary parameters
- As a member of the Ticketing Leadership Team, you will serve as a subject matter expert on our VIP operations and support cross functional team and organization initiatives
- 7+ years of relevant industry experience in VIP Hospitality, Client Servicing and Events/Experiences
- Must be an effective communicator that can convey information efficiently and build strong relationships with external clients and internal key stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as a team, while juggling multiple tasks and deliverables
- Financial planning and budget tracking experience
- Excellent event and project management skills - in-depth knowledge of event execution, creative development and contract negotiation
- Internally motivated, driven and a resourceful problem solver on the fly, knows how to find answers to provide the best solution and knows when to escalate
- Proven success leading a team of successful individuals through coaching, development, and culture building with 5+ years of leadership experience leading a medium-sized team.
- Demonstrated dedication to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
- Experienced user of event technology (CRM, registration, event applications), Microsoft 360 - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Photoshop
- The flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends due to the nature of our events
- Available for 5-10% domestic and North American travel to execute VIP Experiences

Job Description
Manage our world class VIP Hospitality operations and programming across all of our teams and LIVE vertical and venues. You will be responsible for executing a range of compelling VIP programs and be the operational expert to ensure all internal and external experiences and events are executed flawlessly. You have leadership experience with an innovative and strategic mindset and your ability to make things happen through your extensive networks, industry knowledge, high level of confidentiality and sound judgment are key to being successful in the role.
