Job Description

- Develop Retail Marketing / Direct to Consumer (DTC) calendar across channels. Coordinate trade marketing implementation according to regional strategies and regional marketing calendar
- Plan campaign by door list in accordance with tiering
- To support overall Marketing strategy for e.g. Key Accounts, Own Retail and Franchise
- Supports and secure the implementation of local initiatives campaigns and develop ideas together with Creative Designer / Visual Merchandising (VM) DTC / Wholesale / Franchise
- Build a quality, brand building Visual Merchandising team, capable of providing value-added service to adidas retailers
- Oversee the quality of Retail Marketing/In-Store Communication (ISC) Point of Sale (POS) tools for monthly Retail Marketing /VM Directives.
- Ensure proper VM materials are available (as per regional guidelines)
- Oversee the quality of POS Materials / ISC tools
- Budget management, develop estimating channel Marketing Working Budget (MWB) (Own the VM MWB)
- Manage VM implementation in all Retail/ Franchise
- Ensure complete understanding of VM by all stakeholders
- Oversees and manages VM Planning Specialist reporting to SEA /APAC on campaign approval and implementation
- Provide coaching & constructive feedback to direct reports and foster their performance development
- Perform key VM training under the concept of train-the-trainer to ensure local knowledge of VM standards
- Identify talents to secure a local diverse and sustainable talent pipeline
- Plan and set visual merchandising work system/structure to ensure a smooth operating rhythm within VM Dept in supporting the retail environment
- Support Store Opening/project and any other ad-hoc initiatives
- Provide coaching & constructive feedback to direct reports and foster their performance development
- Perform key VM training under the concept of train-the-trainer to ensure local knowledge of VM standards

- Structured, process oriented at the same time approachable and strong interpersonal skills and is able to achieve desired results in a face-paced, highly competitive and multi-tasking environment
- Excellent communication skills including impactful presentation skills, influencing, negotiating, and change management
- The ability to interpret visual merchandising presentations and relate them back to the store environment
- Strong leadership skills to inspire, motivate and build respectful working relationships
- Pro-active problem solver, ability to assess an issue and develop action steps for resolution
- University degree in Business or equivalent professional experience
- Possess 4-6 years experience in Visual Merchandising of which a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role
- Display substantial Commercial experience with a proven ability to visually express the brand identity of a company in a fast-paced environment, preferably from a Retail business
- Experience working in a multinational company
- Proficient in computer skills
- Fluent English and both written and spoken, knowledge of other languages is added advantage
