      It is desirable you understand the principles and fundamentals of engineering and maintenance, lean methodologies, and process control to support leading by example and advocating industry standards and regulations.

      You will have a solid, demonstrated experience in implementing world class tools and lean manufacturing methodologies, managing plant wide change initiatives. Your communication style both written and verbal are excellent and you will have proven leadership skills, particularly in creating possibilities, change management, consistent delivery of great performance and managing people for success.

      We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated and able to achieve high impact within Diageo.

      About the Role

      In addition to understanding the core Lean concepts, tools, and practices, using your Six Sigma Certification, you have the capability and skills to lead and facilitate improvement initiatives within the organization.

      You will engage, empower, and encourage the team with your support and model behaviors to deliver continuous improvement in all departments. Collaborating with operational partners, you will deliver against critical metric objectives, drive reduction in targeted waste streams, support, coach and track all root cause problem solving. Using your passion for lean techniques you will optimize safety, quality, production and cost objectives through employee involvement and team approach to problem solving. You are the advisor and planner who will implement key initiatives to improve all operations through regular meetings with the teams to drive performance improvement and increased levels of engagement.

      You can link planning to develop clear guidelines for the effective planning of operations benchmark and measure our performance against world class, keep up to date of industry changes including new technology, equipment, and systems. Together, our goal is to move site performance to world class.
