What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Plan and conduct interviews, surveys, and observational research to uncover customer needs and pain points
- Analyze industry trends, market size, growth drivers, and buyer behavior to inform strategic decisions
- Track and evaluate competitor offerings, positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategies
- Create structured market segmentation models to help prioritize focus areas
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging and differentiation based on competitor insights
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-5 years of experience in product research, market analysis, customer insights, or a related strategic role
- Strong communication skills with a track record of translating research into actionable recommendations
- Familiarity with customer discovery methods such as interviews and surveys
- Strong industry knowledge in property, facilities management, engineering & construction, and/or public sector workflows
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with tools like Excel; familiarity with platforms like Snowflake or Jupyter Notebook, or light SQL is a plus
- Awareness of trends in data-driven products, including AI, machine learning, geospatial analysis, or climate risk
- Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
