What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and implement market research strategies to assess public interest and engagement related to a museum
- Design and execute data collection methods such as focus groups, surveys, interviews, and public opinion polls
- Analyze data on community interests, competitor offerings, and broader market conditions using statistical software
- Provide strategic recommendations based on market data to inform museum development and community engagement
- Communicate findings and strategic insights effectively to executive-level personnel through oral briefings and written documentation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Market Research or a related field in Business, Communications, or Social Sciences
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or 12 years with a Master's degree or higher in a related field
- Demonstrated expertise in market research methodologies and tools
- Strong experience with statistical analysis software and data visualization
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to brief senior stakeholders

- Experience conducting research within nonprofit or museum-focused contexts
- Familiarity with government policies, regulations, and directives related to museums and nonprofits
