Monitor, analyse and manage sales and performance data, identify trends, and optimise pricing, promotions, and product assortment.
Monitor marketplace performance metrics reporting against OKR and KPI targets, and take proactive measures to achieve revenue targets. Support in the forecasting and planning of annual and monthly performance reviews, ensuring income targets and budgets are communicated and met.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with team members to implement efficient systems that enhance operational efficiency across marketplace warehouse hubs and across retail estate.
Manage relationships with marketplace accounts, including onboarding, performance monitoring, and issue resolution. Also develop and maintain strong relationships with platform account managers, fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial environment.
Evaluate new marketplace opportunities and develop strategies to expand product offerings and attract a larger customer base.
Responsible for commercial performance of Amazon, including income, contribution and P&L management, eventually working to build our global Amazon marketplace strategy
Proven track record in managing and growing online marketplaces, preferably within the retail or e-commerce industry.
Strong understanding of e-commerce marketplaces, including platform functionality, best practices and performance metrics. eBay and Amazon especially relevant. Solid understanding of marketplace dynamics, competitor landscape and industry trends.
Familiarity with marketplace management tools and software for efficient operations. Experience of software such as PowerBI , Microsoft Excel and CRM systems
Experience of presenting data to stakeholders, translating key information suitable for a range of audiences
Experience in managing account manager relationships, including onboarding, performance monitoring and issue resolution.
Proficiency in generating, analysing and interpreting sales data to drive strategic decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders. Strong ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and delivery results.

We’re looking for an inspiring Marketplace Trading Manager to join Cancer Research UK’s e-commerce Trading team to d eliver income and contribution growth for all marketplaces. You will s upport the strategic development of Cancer Research UK’s Marketplace operation through sound commercial insights and analytics. Take responsibility of promotional planning including major deal events and marketplace campaigns and c ontinuously work to improve performance to achieve business objectives .
This role would suit someone with experience as an eCommerce Manager, Online Trading Manager or Commercial Manager. You’ll have a curious mindset and be committed to supporting our growth plans. This is a real opportunity to have a tangible impact in the contribution eCommerce makes to our life saving cause.
