What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, publish, and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) in alignment with forecast, demand, capacity, and business priorities
- Translate demand forecasts into actionable production plans by evaluating labor, equipment, and material availability
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align on priorities and execute efficient production plans
- Lead and develop direct reports responsible for scheduling activities and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Track scheduling KPIs and monitor inventory to support lean and continuous improvement initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5-8 years of production or supply chain planning experience in a manufacturing environment, including 1-2 years in a master scheduling or senior-level planning role
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field
- Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (NetSuite or equivalent preferred)
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence and collaborate across departments
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- PICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred
- Experience with lean manufacturing, kanban, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with Smartsheet, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust quickly to change
