What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Execute a sales plan aligned with regional and company strategic objectives to grow sales volume
- Develop and implement business plans, effectively managing time and territory while maintaining customer information
- Cultivate partnerships with customers and suppliers to provide tailored solutions
- Collaborate closely with regional sales teams, service teams, and product specialists to ensure high customer satisfaction
- Support product representation at trade shows and local customer events
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Chemistry or a related field
- 3-5 years of direct experience selling or supporting Inorganic instrumentation
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 60% of the time
- Strong understanding of the capital equipment sales cycle
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Software (CRM) for managing customer information
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Thorough understanding of business factors affecting account profitability and competitive status
- Experience with analytical laboratory software and instruments
- Prior experience working in a laboratory environment utilizing Inorganic instrumentation
