What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead on-site inspection, validation, functional testing, verification, and troubleshooting of mechanical and controls equipment
- Develop commissioning plans and prepare pre-functional checklists and functional performance test scripts
- Review construction-related design documents, drawings, and specifications
- Manage project communication and reporting, including progress reports for stakeholders
- Serve as the primary site contact for clients and build effective, long-term client relationships
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or a related discipline, or two years of hands-on experience with mechanical and controls infrastructure
- Minimum eight years of additional experience with installation, testing, validation, and troubleshooting of mechanical and controls infrastructure
- Knowledge of mechanical and controls system principles
- Exceptional organizational skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form with clients and team members
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience leveraging AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and optimize processes
- Certification for NFPA70E and/or OSHA training as required
- Ability to work successfully in a remote environment with self-motivation and resourcefulness
