What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide on-site inspection, validation, functional testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and controls equipment
- Develop commissioning plans, pre-functional checklists, and functional performance test scripts
- Review shop drawings, submittals, and lead commissioning-focused design reviews
- Direct project communication and reporting, including project progress reports for stakeholders
- Leverage AI-enabled and digital tools to enhance efficiency and support high-quality work output
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or related discipline, or two years of hands-on installation, testing, validation, and troubleshooting experience
- Minimum eight years of additional experience with mechanical and controls infrastructure
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms
- Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to rent vehicles
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with factory witness testing and startup activities
- Familiarity with NFPA70E and/or OSHA training
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and digital workflows in engineering
- Strong analytical skills for document and report preparation
- Experience managing multiple tasks in a remote environment
