What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Meet or exceed sales goals for assigned technology offerings
- Develop and implement sales strategies, promotions, and growth plans
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers via various communication methods
- Establish and nurture relationships with sales teams and customers to understand sales potential
- Mentor and coach other Automation specialists, potentially acting as a Team Lead
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of equivalent experience in the electrical distribution industry or related fields
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Applicants must reside in the Bay Area
- Intermediate/advanced computer skills, particularly with Excel, Outlook, and Word
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- Experience in mentoring or training peers
- Ability to present technical information effectively to diverse audiences
- Familiarity with high-tech equipment and automation products
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude towards customers and colleagues
