What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform patient care under the direction of the physician and supervision of the lead nurse
- Gather patient data through interviews and observations
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Document patient data, treatments, procedures, and education as per organizational policies
- Process incoming and outgoing calls professionally and independently
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Successful completion of Medical Assistant training from an approved technical school or 5 years of applicable work experience in a patient care setting
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited agency
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-specific patient care

- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
