What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist the clinic physician in examining and treating patients, including conducting patient interviews and measuring vital signs
- Record patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
- Draw and collect blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory analysis
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and assist with various procedures
- Schedule patient appointments and manage administrative tasks related to patient care
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Basic Life Support certification
- Working knowledge of computers and electronic medical records
- Minimum of two years of experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Phlebotomy skills
- Experience in a collaborative healthcare environment
- Additional certifications related to medical assisting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
