      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Prepare patients and treatment rooms for examination and treatment
      - Take patient histories and vital signs
      - Administer injections and apply dressings as instructed
      - Assist providers in preparing for minor surgeries and exams
      - Maintain patient documentation, files, and records

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or GED equivalent
      - Certification of completion from a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
      - National certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or AMT Registered Medical Assistant (must obtain within 180 days of employment if not already certified)
      - BLS/CPR Certification
      - Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse populations

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - 1 year of experience as a medical assistant in family medicine, pediatrics, or OB/GYN
      - Bilingual in English and Spanish
      - Proficiency in operating computer databases; EHR/EMR experience
      - Knowledge of ADA, CPT, and ICD-9-CM coding
      - Familiarity with general office practices in a medical setting
