What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Obtain patient intake information and histories, ensuring consents are signed
- Perform vital sign assessments for every patient visit
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments as directed
- Document in electronic health records and complete orders per standard of care
- Maintain cleanliness and proper stocking of clinic rooms and areas
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of one year of work experience
- Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited school or certificate to practice as a Medical Assistant
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of confidentiality requirements and medical terminology
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual in Spanish
- One year of work experience in the healthcare field
