      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist the clinic physician with patient examinations and treatments
      - Conduct patient interviews and measure vital signs, recording information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
      - Draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
      - Manage patient appointment schedules, balancing medical needs with patients' availability
      - Perform administrative tasks including patient registration, scheduling, and answering telephones

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED with successful completion of a Medical Assistant training program
      - Minimum of one (1) year of Medical Assistant experience
      - Previous experience in an ambulatory care setting
      - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
      - Ability to perform point of care testing and draw blood specimens

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in a healthcare environment with direct patient care
      - Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system
      - Additional certifications related to medical assisting or patient care
