What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist providers and healthcare team in clinic by performing back office and patient-related tasks
- Perform patient care procedures within the Medical Assistant scope of practice
- Manage rooming and patient flow, including pre-visit preparation and post-visit duties
- Inform providers of schedule changes and assist with front office activities
- Report test results as directed by the provider
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED and ability to read and comprehend at a 12th Grade Level or above
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program
- Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant - Certified (CM) or Medical Assistant Interim (IC) credential required
- Knowledge of third party payer requirements
- Strong aptitude for detail and ability to work independently
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role in a healthcare setting
