      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking patient histories and vital signs
      - Maintain exam and treatment rooms with necessary supplies and instruments
      - Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy
      - Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals
      - Answer telephone calls to the practice and screen for referrals

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or twelve months of direct clinical patient care experience
      - Current Medical Assistant certification or ability to obtain within one year of hire
      - Medical Assistants who recently graduated must obtain clinical MA certification within 60 days of employment
      - Active and unrevoked RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/ABR-OE credentials is highly preferred
      - Must reside within a two-hour commute of the primary location

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - One year of medical work experience in a healthcare setting
      - Certification in Medical Assisting or related credentials
      - Previous experience in a fast-paced clinical environment
