      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Process claims, manage accounts receivable, and maintain documentation in compliance with payer guidelines
      - Investigate and resolve claim denials, identifying trends to enhance reimbursement outcomes
      - Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to clarify billing requirements
      - Organize and prioritize daily responsibilities using employer tools for efficient task completion
      - Apply foundational knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system to billing operations

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Experience in billing and/or coding revenue cycle preferred
      - Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing and reimbursement processes
      - Experience billing for California highly preferred
      - Rural hospital experience required for acute care hospital work
      - Completion of a 50-60-minute competency assessment prior to team interview

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Knowledge of FQHC billing practices
      - Dental billing experience preferred
      - Medical Billing Certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) preferred
