What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Responsible for the collection, submission, and claim rejections for all assigned insurance accounts
- Utilize Accounts Receivable Aging Reports to track and maintain balances within an acceptable range
- Research, resolve, and respond to insurance, regulatory, and patient correspondence in a timely and professional manner
- Implement contractual requirements for billing and collecting from assigned insurance carriers
- Collaborate on improvements in the process of handling insurance reimbursements

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2+ years of Collections and Denials experience
- Experience working in a high volume setting (80+ claims per day)
- Comprehensive knowledge of ICD-10 coding, CPT coding, HCPCS coding, modifiers, and government and commercial payer guidelines
- Experience working from home without distractions
- Knowledge of basic office equipment and computer skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Laboratory billing/collections experience
- Xifin EMR experience
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Familiarity with payers outside of Arizona, specifically Colorado
