      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Prepare and submit claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and Third Party carriers accurately and in a timely manner
      - Research and apply new and changing regulations to maximize reimbursement and ensure compliance
      - Educate hospital personnel on regulations and their impact on reimbursement and billing
      - Follow up with payers on timely reimbursements for accounts
      - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information from various sources within the medical center

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or equivalent required
      - Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare or accounting setting, or completion of medical coding and/or billing course(s)
      - Preferred 3-5 years related experience in healthcare or accounting
      - Preferred 1-3 years direct experience involving claims, insurance, or patient accounting
      - Ability to work full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous experience with medical billing or coding
      - Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and Third Party payer regulations
      - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      - Experience with medical billing software
