  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Process claims and manage accounts receivable while maintaining compliance with payer guidelines
  - Investigate and resolve claim denials, identifying trends to improve reimbursement outcomes
  - Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to clarify billing requirements
  - Organize and prioritize daily responsibilities to ensure timely and efficient task completion
  - Apply knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system and OCHIN solutions to billing operations
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - Experience in billing and/or coding revenue cycle preferred
  - Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, MVA, Workers Comp, and private insurance billing processes
  - Experience billing for California is highly preferred
  - Acute care hospital work experience in a rural setting is required
  - Ability to complete a competency assessment prior to team interview
  
  How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  - Dental billing experience preferred
  - Medical Billing Certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) preferred
  - FQHC experience and knowledge preferred
