      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review and correct denied claims, submitting appeals through various communication methods
      - Analyze denial reasons and implement corrective measures to resolve payer errors
      - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer-specific updates and compliance with HIPAA guidelines
      - Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information for claims resolution
      - Report denial trends to management to enhance revenue cycle processes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Equivalent to a high school graduate
      - Knowledge of third-party billing, including ICD, CPT, HCPCS, and 1500 claim forms
      - 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in professional billing preferred
      - Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in both individual and team settings
      - Demonstrated problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with Epic software
      - Additional experience in a healthcare billing environment
