      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review medical billing charge submissions for compliance with coding guidelines and documentation accuracy
      - Verify all information necessary to submit clean claims, ensuring adherence to payer and YMA policies
      - Resolve charge session discrepancies by communicating with providers and modifying documentation as needed
      - Participate in team training and maintain professional knowledge through educational workshops
      - Perform additional duties as assigned by management

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Four years of related work experience, with at least two years in the same job family at a lower level, or two years of related work experience and an Associate's degree
      - Certified Professional Coder Apprentice (CPC-A) through AAPC organization, with a commitment to achieve CPC status within 2 years
      - General/intermediate knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCs, medical terminology, and coding resources
      - Proficiency with electronic health records, web-based applications, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
      - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous experience with Epic software
      - Experience in an academic medical environment or large multi-specialty practice
      - Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification
