      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review clinical documentation and diagnostic results to apply appropriate ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes, including IV infusion and injection codes
      - Abstract and code diagnoses and procedures from health records using suitable classification systems
      - Ensure accurate HCPCS and facility-level Evaluation & Management codes are applied for billing
      - Attend staff meetings and participate in other company-sponsored or mandated meetings as required
      - Perform additional duties as assigned, including the ability to work off hours and overtime

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED
      - CPC, CPC-H, CIC, COS, or CCS coding certification
      - Minimum of 3 years of experience coding using ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and CPT codes
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
      - Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and regulations

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience coding emergency or hospital ancillary services
      - Expertise in pathophysiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and coding systems
      - Proficiency with patient accounting systems
      - Experience using Stockell InsightCS, EPIC Community Connect, Cerner, and/or PICIS EMR
      - Knowledge of calculating and applying IV Infusion and Injection codes
