What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Comprehensive understanding of the entire billing cycle and medical terminology
- Coding, charge entry, insurance adjudication, contractual agreement, payment posting, and collections
- Utilize Epic, GECB, or Allscripts for coding purposes
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with coding regulations
- Collaborate with team members to optimize billing processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
- 5+ years of multi-specialty coding experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, judgment, and decision-making skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Epic, GECB, or Allscripts
- Specialty coding certifications
- Knowledge of medical billing software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
