      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Deliver efficient and accurate coding services on behalf of member clients, ensuring compliance with payer requirements and coding guidelines
      - Extract and interpret relevant clinical data from medical records to support accurate code assignment
      - Review and analyze patient encounters to assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes
      - Support member organizations in achieving appropriate reimbursement by recommending accurate code assignments
      - Conduct research and obtain additional information from providers or clinical staff as needed

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Experience in billing and/or coding revenue cycle preferred
      - Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing and reimbursement processes
      - Required certifications: Medical coding from AAPC (CPC Certificate) or AHIMA (CCS Certificate), and current certification from ADCA (CDC certificate)
      - Required certifications for inpatient coding: Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) or AHIMA Inpatient certification
      - Ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office environment

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Prior experience in healthcare coding or billing
      - Familiarity with legal requirements related to healthcare reimbursement
      - Strong analytical skills to identify coding trends and issues
      - Excellent communication skills for provider interaction and documentation follow-up
      - Ability to recommend process enhancements for operational efficiency
