      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Diagnose root causes of academic/clinical performance issues in medical students and provide tailored learning prescriptions
      - Conduct lectures and small group teaching sessions on strategies to enhance academic performance
      - Monitor and document student progress for all consulted students
      - Provide individual academic counseling consultations and develop learning plans for medical students at various stages
      - Assist students in preparation for the United States Medical Licensing Examination® (USMLE®)

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Master's degree, PhD, or EdD in educational psychology, adult learning, or health professions education
      - 1-2 years of experience providing academic counseling to medical students
      - Proficiency in translating student learning theory into individual learning plans and academic counseling strategies
      - Excellent interpersonal, intercultural, and communication skills
      - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Combination of a Master's degree and a PhD or EdD in relevant fields, along with an MD, DO, or MBBS
      - Experience as a learning specialist in an allopathic or osteopathic medical school
      - Background in developing educational materials that integrate basic science and clinical reasoning
      - Experience designing individual learning plans for diverse medical student populations
