What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure accuracy of patient information, including demographics and insurance
- Perform reception duties, communicating effectively and pleasantly with customers
- Answer phones, route calls, take messages, and convey information accurately
- Register, verify, and schedule patient appointments, tests, and referrals
- Collect co-pays and reconcile funds for deposit while processing record requests
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of customer-related experience required
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to present a professional appearance and image
- Completion of compliance responsibilities related to the position
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1+ years of healthcare experience
- Familiarity with medical record processing and documentation
