      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Analyze and process medication referrals and authorization requests in accordance with insurance requirements
      - Complete prior authorization questionnaires, including auditing patient charts and documenting clinical information
      - Communicate with providers and patients regarding authorization status and necessary follow-up
      - Monitor work queues and authorization statuses to ensure timely processing
      - Investigate and mitigate risks associated with medication authorization denials

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or equivalent required
      - LVN licensure or current pharmacy technician license with registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      - Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
      - Ability to work independently and effectively under stress

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous clinic operation experience
      - Familiarity with insurance billing guidelines, including governmental programs
      - Ability to multitask and follow through on outstanding authorizations
      - Experience in a healthcare-related environment
