      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Respond to Code Gray alerts and assist in crisis situations while ensuring patient and staff safety
      - Participate in patient assessments and contribute to discharge planning
      - Examine patient belongings and remove hazardous items to maintain a safe environment
      - Conduct suicide assessments and monitor changes in patient behavior
      - Deliver important notices to patients regarding legal procedures and assist with paperwork

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree; AND one year of experience as a Mental Health Specialist I, or equivalent; experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis
      - Valid/Active Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) or Nursing Assistant Registration (NAR) with the state of Washington
      - Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements

      - Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in mental health
      - Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques
      - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
      - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
