      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Respond to Code Gray alerts and other crises by securing patients and supporting staff
      - Complete crisis intervention/prevention training and apply techniques as needed
      - Assist with patient assessments, discharge planning, and documentation
      - Conduct safety checks on patient belongings and visitors to ensure a secure environment
      - Participate in patient rounds, suicide assessments, and monitor for behavioral changes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree; AND one year as a Mental Health Specialist I, or equivalent; experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis
      - Valid/Active Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) or Nursing Assistant Registration (NAR) with the state of Washington
      - Inclusion of NAC or NAR credential number in your resume
      - Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements

      - Experience in a mental health or psychiatric setting
      - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
      - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
      - Understanding of behavioral health issues and treatment protocols
