What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide business insights and competitor intelligence to support category strategies and performance reporting
- Identify and validate opportunities within categories using various analytical tools and market data
- Conduct data mining and trend analysis to improve business practices and profitability
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to develop and implement pricing strategies
- Maintain accurate pricing and sales system information for performance reporting
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of analytical experience in category management, retail, or financial analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
- Strong quantitative skills with the ability to analyze and compile data
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of SQL, VBA, and Alteryx
- Familiarity with Nielsen and IRI data sources and their applications
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in presenting analytical results to management
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on systems and processes
