What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform system administration for Windows servers and clients
- Monitor networks, servers, and systems to ensure optimal performance
- Provide Tier 3 support for network and system issues, resolving high-priority problems promptly
- Recommend hardware and software solutions to meet business or operational needs
- Collaborate with department and Office of Information Technology (OIT) teams on enterprise projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Knowledge of network management and maintenance of telecommunication systems
- Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical problems
- Familiarity with information assurance methods for protecting information systems
- Training and experience in installing and configuring computer systems and networks
- Strong customer service skills to assist clients and resolve their issues
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in strategic thinking and systems life cycle management concepts
- Proven ability to develop technical solutions for complex problems
- Knowledge of technical documentation procedures for operational support
- Background in integrating and optimizing information systems components
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and third-party frameworks
