What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a main point of contact and liaison with internal and external stakeholders in the specialized research area
- Assist in identifying research problems and developing research methodologies and procedures
- Facilitate scholarly events and presentations to support professional development and dissemination of research
- Collect and analyze research data, conduct experiments and interviews, and document results
- Write or assist in developing grant applications and proposals to secure research funding
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4 years of experience designing and implementing a research agenda
- Minimum of 3 years of experience researching topics related to K-12 education
- Demonstrated knowledge of multilingual education or related fields
- Experience managing research projects, deadlines, and budgets
- Bilingual in English and at least one other language
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience leading research teams and supporting their methodological development
- Experience supervising and mentoring graduate students
- Experience with teaching or working with multilingual learners
- Demonstrated knowledge about adult and/or teacher learning
