Should have an ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts within the team, and is able to work individually or as part of a team to achieve project goals. You're required to have skills in the following areas : • Snowflake and SQL Server. Experience in AWS, Azure is an added advantage. • Overall experience of 8-10years with 4 years of experience in "Snowflake -Cloud Data warehouse" hands-on " Snowflake Cloud Development with experience and 4+ years in Data warehouse, ETL, BI projects. • Should have knowledge in Snowflake Architecture. • Must have experience at least two end to end implementation of Snowflake cloud data warehouse and 3 end to end datawarehouse implementations on-premise preferably on SQL Server • Expertise in Snowflake – data modelling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, implementing complex stored Procedures and standard DWH and ETL concepts • Expertise in Snowflake advanced concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, Zero copy clone, time travel and understand how to use these features • Expertise in deploying Snowflake features such as data sharing, events and lake-house patterns • Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Big Data model techniques using Python • Experience in Data Migration from RDBMS to Snowflake cloud data warehouse • Deep understanding of relational as well as NoSQL data stores, methods and approaches (star and snowflake, dimensional modelling) • Experience with data security and data access controls and design • Experience with AWS or Azure data storage and management technologies such as S3 and ADLS • Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management • Proficiency in RDBMS, complex SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, performance tuning and troubleshoot • Provide resolution to an extensive range of complicated data pipeline related problems, proactively and as issues surface • Must have expertise in AWS or Azure Platform as a Service (PAAS). • Certified Snowflake cloud data warehouse Architect (Desirable). • Should be able to troubleshoot problems across infrastructure, platform and application domains. • Must have experience of Agile development methodologies • Strong written communication skills. Is effective and persuasive in both written and oral communication Roles and Responsibilities: • Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting • Evaluate and improve existing BI systems • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems • Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses • Create visualizations and reports for requested projects • Develop and update technical documentation

Required Technical Competencies

Domain/ Industry Knowledge:

• Basic knowledge of customer's business processes- relevant technology platform or product.
• Able to prepare process maps, workflows, business cases and simple business models in line with customer requirements with assistance from SME and apply industry standards/ practices in implementation with guidance from experienced team members.

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

• Working knowledge of requirement management processes and requirement analysis processes, tools & methodologies.

• Able to analyse the impact of change requested/ enhancement/ defect fix and identify dependencies or interrelationships among requirements & transition requirements for engagement.

Technology/Product Knowledge:

• Working knowledge of technology product/platform standards and specifications.

• Able to implement code or configure/customize products, analyse various frameworks/tools, review the code & provide inputs in design and architecture adhering to industry standards/ practices in implementation.

Architecture tools and frameworks:

• Working knowledge of architecture Industry tools & frameworks.

• Able to identify pros/ cons of available tools & frameworks in market and use those as per Customer requirement and explore new tools/ framework for implementation.

Architecture concepts and principles:

• Working knowledge of architectural elements, SDLC, methodologies.

• Able to provides architectural design/ documentation at an application or function capability level and implement architectural patterns in solution & engagements and communicates architecture direction to the business.

Analytics Solution Design:

• Knowledge of statistical & machine learning techniques like classification, linear regression modelling, clustering & decision trees.

• Able to identify the cause of errors and their potential solutions.

Tools & Platform Knowledge:

• Familiar with wide range of mainstream commercial & open-source data science/analytics software tools, their constraints, advantages, disadvantages, and areas of application.
