- Req#: R-05070
- Assists Mortgage Banker as a point of contact for customers, builders, and realtors during the application process
- Supports the Mortgage Banker in their effort to increase production volume for the area as directed by the banker
- Tracks loans through closing, answering customer questions regarding status of files and underwriting requirements
- Other related administrative duties as needed and/or assigned
- Accepts and performs other duties as determined to be essential

- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience: Previous experience with FHA, State Housing Conventional, and FNMA/FMLMC loans is preferred
- Certifications/Specific Knowledge: Excellent communication and PC skills required along with strong written and verbal skills.

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES
This position assists the Mortgage Banker as a point of contact for customers, builders, and realtors during the application process and supports the Mortgage Banker in their effort to increase production volume for the area as directed by the MOL. Ensures compliance with SouthState Banks Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other operating procedures. Completes compliance training, adheres to all anti-money laundering guidelines and procedures and all regulatory requirements.

Required annual compliance training.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports. This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Telecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered.
TRAVEL
Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed.
