What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Train new team members in the closing department and ensure accurate closing packages
- Manage multiple complex files while resolving issues in a timely manner
- Review and respond to audit inquiries and participate in audit calls
- Maintain effective communication with all parties involved in closing transactions
- Validate fees, submit wires, and ensure timely funding of loans
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree and a minimum of 3 years of mortgage experience, including CD Issuance
- Strong PC skills with knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and email software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload effectively
- Notary Public certification
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Solid knowledge of departmental software
- Ability to adapt to an ever-changing mortgage environment
- Experience as a subject matter expert in product, investor, and compliance requirements
