What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process mortgage loan requests accurately and in a timely manner
- Serve as a liaison between customers, mortgage loan originators, and third parties
- Compile and prepare mortgage loan files from application through closing
- Ensure compliance with bank, regulatory, and investor guidelines
- Maintain high customer service standards throughout the loan process
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years of job-related experience
- Knowledge of loan processing and closing policies and procedures
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with various loan types including FHA, VA, Jumbo, Portfolio, and DPA
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Familiarity with automated underwriting system approver authority
